When should you change your windshield wiper blades?

This picture answers the question: change the wiper blades when it's sunny! After all, doing so when it's raining is inconvenient, and well, ...wet. Problem is that we only think about changing them when it rains. The next day is sunny, so we forget about it...until it rains again.

This to me illustrates the value of a to-do list. It keeps me on track with goals and projects that otherwise I forget about or never seem to get around to.

My wife is planning another of her post-it notes campaigns. She has one post-it note for each room of the house. She jots down her goals and plans for that particular room and sticks it on the door. "New mini-blinds, fix hole in wall, paint trim, take junk in closet to Goodwill." Or whatever. It's all right there on a post-it note, rain or shine.

So, a post-it note for the dashboard of my car: change oil, install power window motor you bought 6 months ago, order new lug for front passenger side tire if you want to pass inspection in January.

Also, buy new wiper blades.

Life changing stuff here, really.
